RUBNER EXHIBITION STAND

Under a tree

2012
exhibition stand

How do you showcase wood in the best possible way? How do you combine innovation with a sense of tradition? These guiding questions led the design of the new exhibition stand for the South Tyrolean family business Rubner. Rubner is one of the leading timber construction companies in the world, but at the same time has a strong connection to its home region of South Tyrol. This should also be clearly visible in the new stand.

The colour scheme is limited to the red colour of the company and thus creates a high recognition value. Organic shapes made of wood divide the stand into smaller sections and at the same time demonstrate the versatility of the material. The use of local South Tyrolean wood shows the company’s connection to its homeland.

A dynamic path through the open stand leads visitors on an interactive journey through the history of the company and the traditional craft of wood processing. A stylised tree made of wooden beams rises up in the centre. A return to the natural origins of woodworking.

Due to its modular design, the stand can be easily assembled and disassembled, making it versatile and easily adaptable. The timeless design ensures a long life and further improves the recognition value.
